We welcome rectors of churches in urban areas to join us in Atlanta on May 7-8, 2025 at Trinity Anglican. We believe you need to meet each other and there is no better way than in person.
How are we defining urban? What might we have in common with one another? We are gathering pastors from cities with a population around half a million or greater (not including metro area). If you have people constantly coming and going from your city so it feels like you are re-planting every other year, if you have transportation options other than a car, if you have few places to meet with large groups of people without paying a ton of money or having to be very inventive, or if the cost of living exceeds that of the average North American, this is for you.
Here is what we hope you receive from making time and spending the money on this: We hope it leads to you being refreshed and renewed to continue in your work with fortitude, joy, and hopefulness. We hope it leads to forming friendships with others across the Province. We hope it leads to sharing resources, ideas, and prayers for God’s expansion of the church in cities.
The event is 24 hours beginning at noon on May 7 through noon on May 8th at Trinity Anglican. We will be providing coffee, hearty snacks and dinner together on Wednesday night. Please make your reservation at our suggested hotel, Embassy Suites in Midtown Atlanta. If you are in need of a scholarship in order to attend, please reach out to Janie at [email protected].
